In a few short weeks my internship at Ye Olde Literary Agency will come to an end and then I shall be put to the task of finding entry-level positions in the sinking industry that is publishing. Oh god. Why, oh why, did I choose to make this lateral career move right as the industry decides to implode?

EXACTLY. Alsoooo, I will complete the program at NYU in July, and will be making a LOT of contacts at a publishing job fair held at the end, so - you know. I will pass the word along and keep you informed. Y'know, if you want. ;)

Dude, if your parents are taking you, GO! You can always tell the job when you interview that you'd had this vacation booked for awhile. That's what I did when I started my current job.
