Novaris Legacy: Gen One point Zero
Okay! Here it is. My first pixel_tradelegacy! Here's hoping I did everything right. I filled the hood Up with Townies from the Alien extravaganza they have going on. Some of them look the same some of them look totally different. Also, I'm new to this so here's hoping I was successful in keeping track of everyone!:)

Polarity in the Pollinators Differences In The Family Tree
Here is our founder, the perpetually worried, and completely adorable Boot Novaris. He's a family sim, who wants to marry off six kids. He's also extremely lazy...
Other than the laziness, he is delightfully well suited to the Gen one Challenge of Farming! All his wants are nature related.
Boot is one of a small handful of survivors of his home planet. He has found his way here to a sparsely populated canyon to start his life over again.
Unsure of what to do with his life now that everyone he loved is gone, Boot remembers the small farm his parents had when he was a child and decides that he wants nothing more than to feel the soil run through his fingers and to pull his living from it. (Cheesy)
The weather tells him that shelter should probably be his first priority.
His first visitor is Shoe. (Who is technically his great great grandfather? But we won't think about that...)
So here is his little house and the beginnings of his farm.
I guess he won't mind going for that max nature enthusiasm challenge then. :)
Not much else to do for fun...
He changes into some clothing a little less dressy.
Some necessary skilling.
And then more gardening... this is pretty much all that happens... probably his entire life.

Sadly, Boot is in severe hunger mode so I dare not interrupt his meager lunch meat sandwich to have him greet them. He looks very worried about his prospects... oh wait, he always looks like that. :p
Dusty, simchester simchester, on the other hand is female and, since Boot is straight, is therefore worthy of dropping some queue items...
They have two bolts.

"Let's talk about the elephant in the room." Said Boot. "You're a fine woman, and I'm in need of a wife."
Dusty laughs hysterically. "Boot, you're HI-larious!" Boot wasn't really joking...
Then she had to leave because it was too late.
And so Boot returns to his first love.
And then chooses the couch to sleep on the couch even though the bed is right there.
We couldn't afford a shower. Or lights...
You get spammed because this is the first time a sim of mine has stuffed their face.

They have negative chemistry, darn it, but seem to enjoy each other's company otherwise.
I think this is Eemil by astrocake astrocake. *meep* He was the only sim I created without knowing who he was. After that, if they popped up in the bin without a name I just didn't make them.
Penelope by brookshire brookshirewalks by and after greeting her Boot autonomously sweeps her into a dance kiss. I think this might be the one.
Unfortunately he is starving and filthy and she leaves before I can get their relationship high enough, but they are well on their way.
Hmm to sell the map or save it for future generations...

This is Boot's life. Hungry stinky and tired, I leave him stuffing his face to return to real life.
AND THEN... the next time I got on to play several things happened. First, I decided to move him off the lot so I could do terrain painting for free... maybe that's cheating and that's why I paid so dearly for it. Instead of moving him out I accidentally moved his lot into the bin, thereby severing all his relationships, including his bff status with Penelope. (brookshirebrookshire) I resigned myself to that and got back to work playing. It was a nice long play too, because I had the house to myself which is so very rare. And afterward I opened up my screen shot folder to find this:
Yeah, because, you know, Gadwin works a lot better if you actually TURN IT FREAKING ON! *massive facepalm* And after some swearing, some crying and some self deprication I figured that, even after all my hard work, I wasn't going to get to post this legacy after all. Thinking back I guess I could've killed Boot off and started all over (but...sadness!) One superfluous dead sim surely wouldn't break the neighborhood but oh well. I figured, what the heck. So, in a nut shell, you missed A LOT but here we go anyway.

Here is Evangeline by kkkayleighh.kkkayleighh. Just as I realized that Boot needed a woman, and now, not just because he was already four days old but because he needed serious help! And a shower! There she was on his door step, reading his neglected paper, and he pursued her with a singular devotion.
Now here she is pregnant with their first child.
(There's so much more too it than that but who needs a wall of text.)

"Dear diary, Evangeline's pregnancy progresses nicely, as do the plants in the garden. They are not as healthy as I would like but I suppose I have much to learn..."
"Hopefully I will learn quickly because I don't think Evie's paintings are going to be buying us a big screen TV anytime soon." And yeah, I then remembered the challenge says "from the land" so no paintings but I don't think the 29 bucks was a deal breaker. :p

Spatula walks by everyday. Usually he's checking out Evie's ass as she works in the garden. Today he runs over to see the new arrival.
Back to work. Winter is coming and we need a greenhouse, amongst other things...
