After having asked for directions, Kaoru knocked on the man's door. She looked around the hallway and noted the paintings, mirrors and decorations throughout. So this was a "hotel".

"Hello."

"Enter." The Spy quickly stubbed out his cigar and returned the case to his pocket. He had committed many crimes in his life -- theft, murder, assination, fraud -- but exposing a child to second smoke seemed to go much too far.

Kaoru opened the door and walked in, waving the residual smoke out of her face. She had no idea why he had apparently been setting something on fire, something that smelled horrible, at that, but she decided that it was probably for a ritual and therefore best not to ask. She shut the door behind her and approached.

"Hello. You called us here to talk about something."

"Indeed. I called you here to discuss our further plans, as per our alliance." He took a sip of water. "I presume you have summoned your Servant. I have as well. Now, we must prepare to sweep the city."

"But first... would you care for something to eat? I will summon the waiter at once."
