I know with the whole network being mental, people probably missed the announcement about medical exams. The medical exam takes five minutes, is no touch and the results are entirely confidential. They're useful for creating a medical baseline in case you're injured, ill, end up in a coma or are dealing with the death toll. If possible, I advise ( Read more... )

It works best if you're on a strict regiment, Pollux. Every day, same time.

I've been doing this for years. But this fucked up place isn't worth getting...poisoned over or whatever you all have planned.

Pollux, we don't want to poison you. These are the same drugs that you're familiar with from home. We only want to help you.

What for? [She's wary. She doesn't want to give up her knife, or go through one of these exams.]

Because I'm your new warden.

I know. I saw. Why do you want to talk?

Because that's what we do. And because we should understand each other, yeah?

Hey, um. Martha? I was wondering if you could tell me about how medication's handled in the infirmary? I don't really know how to make sure someone's actually taking their meds or... what the rules are about it, but I kinda have to learn fast.

You're Pollux's warden, yeah? He was here before so I knew he needed it. In general when an inmate requires medication, we have them come in on a set schedule in order to take it. However, we can't force someone to take their medication. I'm hoping that stressing the importance to him about it being on a schedule will help, but so far not so much.

Yeah. I don't know if that'll work with him. [His fiiiile. So much dependency and paranoia in there.]

Would it be okay if I tried to manage them? Or would that violate some kind of, I don't know, space malpractice laws. I mean, it probably won't work out any better than trying to get him to the infirmary, but I really don't feel right leaving it.

I don't feel right leaving it either. In the past he did take them from me, but so far it's not going as well as I'd like.

Let me see if talking with him helps and then we'll work out something else if it didn't?

How it's meant to be shown?

On a giant screen.

Does the size of the screen really make that much of a difference?

Nope. Even vampires and the dead have the death toll. Actually, that's one of the reasons why it's so important; it lets us know what's normal for you.
