if he tried to fine you for missing your insurance card, you can just provide it within 24 hrs (I think) and they'll drop the ticket. You might have to go to court to contest it, I'm not 100% sure. But for future reference, just stick the insurance card in your glove box in an envelope w/the registration, just makes life a helluva lot easier.

Why'd he pull you over in the first place? Seems like just an ass if you ask me.

yea, he let me off the hook for the insurance card bc my record was clean. I had like 50 expired ones in my glove box but I couldn't find the most recent one.. it's prolly in there somewhere, lol.

He pulled me over because of the expired sticker on my car... i think he was waiting for me... creepy.

Le Kev said you need 24 hours...but actually, if you even show up to a court date (pleading not guilty to the ticket) and show proof of insurance for the date of the ticket, they just drop it... of course, that always just takes longer.

Plus that guy is a douchebag. You should file a complaint.
