This all sounds great! I'd love to talk more with you--my school schedule is nuts for the next couple of weeks so I prolly shouldn't try to make any more plans until that's all done (and then I have no idea what's going on--looks like the strike will almost certainly happen, but how long it will last is an open question), but I'll message you my email address and we can figure stuff out. And we can at least be LJ friends even if the roomie thing doesn't work out?

I'm looking for 3-4 months (negotiable) rather than permanent, but that could still be beneficial to you if you don't have somebody now.

Nice to meet you--you sound like an interesting person and I'd be happy to get to know you!

Unfortunately I'm not sure the apartment situation is quite what you're after . . . for one thing, I just called the landlord to double-check, and the current tenants will likely not be gone until the last weekend in November. For another, I really would prefer something long-term rather than to have to go through this search again and deal with the disruption of someone else moving in come spring (also the portable dishwasher would not be allowed, but that's minor).

Then again, since I haven't really found anyone else yet, we may as well meet in person to talk it over. I'll send you a message with my email address.
