So, the big thing today was that Ghana won!! First African team ever to make it to the final 16 in the World Cup! I was kind of torn between rooting for the US and Ghana, but I’m happy that Ghana won, because they deserve it. Did your braids come out? What does woodzufia mean? I keep picturing you rocking and rolling - the only white face in this African choir - kind of like Steve Martin in The Jerk.
Glad you are going to get to do something cool while you are up north. Is Odette your translator wherever you go? Is she still translating the Odette way?
So happpy that things like finding chocolate milk and peanut butter make your day! Gratitude for simple luxuries has changed you - you will never be the same. I envy you.

I took them out..they were starting to fall out and I was kind of..over it? Haha..and I just asked John what woodzufia means, and it means something along the lines of "to become a king." Haha, I'm the only white face anywhere I go, and so it should be really fun. A requirement of singing is dancing, of course ( ... )
