Is that what things are like where most of you come from? It all seemed very... frivolous. While education for all seems like a good idea back home most of everyone of that age would be expected to work full time at a trade of some sort ( Read more... )

Not at all, but I'd like to have a hunt with Caspian and the Pevensies sometime and it would be good to know the habits of the game in the forest. You and I should go scout sometime soon.

Up to a certain age, school is mandatory. Granted, there are exceptions.

From what I understand though, you can only go to school if you're young or if you are older and wealthy.

I actually live at school for most of the year. So while it wasn't exactly the sort of schooling I'm used to, it wasn't bad.

What about helping your family? Surely you need to help with the crops or whatever trade your family does.
