47th Legend [Voice]

It would be just like Merlin to leave the day before laundry day. He'll probably show up again tomorrow too, just after I've done it all.

I've got a question though:

Oh my--

No, no it isn't supposed to do that. Possibly, you didn't close the door firmly enough. This is possibly a rude question--but have you done your own laundry before?

I'm sure I kicked it closed hard enough.

Of course not, that's what servants are for.

Then it's more likely that the load is unbalanced--that means you stuffed too much into the washer and the water didn't have anywhere to go. Have a roommate or someone you know who knows how to use the washer show you how.

Ah. You're some human variety of "upper class" then?

They shouldn't put the opening on the side of the box anyways. The person I knew who knows how left, otherwise he'd be doing it.

Yes, I'm the Crown Prince of Camelot.

Oh dear, no. It's not supposed to look like that at all.

Why would they have a box that fills with water with a door on the side in the first place?

It's a high efficiency washer. They use less water and energy and they're wonderful for the environment. Plus they do bigger loads. Some of the companies even use recycled material, now. And there's an artist in Sydney, I think it was, converting wrecked ones into aquariums for deep-ocean fish. Lovely work.

Anyway, the problem's not the door at all, you used too much soap. Or the wrong kind -- you are using a high efficiency detergent, aren't you?

[OOC: I totally made the fish tank stuff up, but it seems like something Shin would know. *hides*]

I don't want to put fish in it, I want to wash my clothes in it.

I just used the soap that was by it.

[ooc: Sounded believable to me!]

You're doing it wrong.

thefutureking September 2 2009, 03:29:32 UTC
Obviously.

immortal_witch September 2 2009, 03:42:26 UTC
Then why did you ask 'Is the water supposed to run out the front like that?'?

Because I thought there might have been some sort of trough to carry it away that I missed adding.
