I just discovered that Don McLean is headlining Canterbury's October Festival and I peed in my panties a little.

Lasagna comes out of the oven in 15 minutes and company gets off the train any minute now. Hotness all around.

Is that the American Pie guy? You should ask if he got major royalties for the films.

Yes indeedy! As well as the "Vincent" guy and the "Empty Chairs" guy! It's your parents' idea of folk rock and I can't wait!

I think that "American pie" is also an expression/term, so I'm sure that the producers managed to wrangle their way out of paying royalties despite the fact that no one can hear those two words without thinking of the song.
