Having read quite a few religious texts throughout my life (although not nearly enough of them in their entirety, in my opinion), I've come to some strange conclusions that have somehow shaped my views on faith

That was beautiful. I sometimes become cynical when faced with the blindly self-righteous, and forget the good parts.

I like this. When I was about ten I came to the same conclusion but had no way to properly convey it. I suppose I couldn't really get past the "one person can be right" part, either. You should have seen his face.
