Oooh, thank you for the rec. Brightened my day right up. I didn't do it alone, though. shrift is the co-author of that story, and chances are at least half of the stuff you enjoyed, she wrote.

Whoops. Thanks for letting me know that it's a two-author story; I fixed the attribution. I wouldn't want to slight anyone so thoroughly familiar with all the joys a good library has to offer.
