This FIHL is dedicated to svmadelyn, who was supposed to get it in, um, February. To her, I say:
  1. See? Eventually, I come through.
  2. But it's entirely possible that you'll die of waiting, or just age out of the project altogether, in the interim.
Recently, I said to the document on my computer screen, "Ah-ha, Mr. Unclear Sentence, we meet again. The last time ( Read more... )

If I didn't already adore you (which I do), I'd swear myself your minion for the Good Omens reference alone.

*squeaks with joy*

I was hoping someone would get the GO reference, but I didn't expect it to be in the second comment.

*admires you greatly*

Don't suppose you'd care to take a stab at the other references, hmmm?

At the time I was writing the comment, it was the first comment. :-D

I will read the whole thing carefully and stab other references with a pointy stick. Last night I really only had the energy for the intro, as it was 2am and I'm all suffering with the hay fever and whatnot.

*nods vehemently*

If there was ever a canon that needed more dinosaurs and WAY more sodomy, Smallville is that canon.

Hi. You just nearly killed me, because it's three in the morning and I don't actually want to wake the parentals with my shrieks of laughter, so I stopped breathing. Ow.

*kneels at your feet. because she can't stand just yet. or something.*

And my god, I wish I had a BB-equivalent to save me from bad writing, because I just end up skipping scenes that I know will be painful. Which means I pretty much stopped watching SV halfway through S1. *shrug*

Smallville taught me to focus on the positive, which is that you didn't actually die, so - yay you! For not actually dying!

*apologizes for the whole not-breathing thing, though*

I don't want seasoned SV fans to hurt me or anything, but in my opinion, SV is one of those "Leave the canon. Take the fan fiction." fandoms.

I lasted two episodes of Smallville, but this almost makes me rueful that I didn't stick it out. (Well, no, not really, but... this was damned funny and while I take your word on all the canon, I know it's always funnier when you've seen the crack firsthand -- see SGA.)

Okay, but, see - you have standards. You would not survive extensive SV exposure.

*shields you from the worst parts of the canon - like much of seasons four and five - with her body*

Although I'd give a bucket of pennies to see what kind of gen you'd write in that fandom. Uh-huh.
