[and suddenly he lunges at her with a long, sharp Darkness sword, moving faster because of the Darkness-beast carrying him]

[She doesn't bat an eyelash as she waits for the right moment. Bringing her hands down in a sweeping motion, she let's a wall of fire escape from her finger tips before moving swiftly into a handspring to flip over him, propelled by the fire shot from her palms.]

You're going to have to do better than that.

[he gets away quickly from the fire, Darkness melting off. It returns after he gets back into the dark - but he's not confident now. Fire makes light.]
