Lord of the Flies promotes Satanism? In what universe? O_o
I have no idea, really I have no idea. This is exactly the reason why I put my foot down against working in a school library. Because funding is even more limited and the principal gets final word, more likely than not a challenged book will be a pulled book. Every other kind of library would not have that kind of trouble because they're for public use and they'll hold everything. Of course, since I'm going into cataloguing, I probably won't have to worry about that part ^^
If anyone approached me with those kids books and started using those reasons...I don't know whether I'll be yelling or laughing. My friends found this list a hoot.

As for Harlequin, that's the mother name with a bunch of imprints under it and is sadly a Canadian company >_<; I've been reading them since 14 because there was time I was trapped in the hospital and those were the only books to read...sadly I have a slight addiction to them now...not that I will ever let someone catch me reading them. I still feel embarrassed buying them for my mother since she loves them and
