Okay, time for community input. I'm working on a vid to Van Halen's "Right Now" right now, and I need some more ideas. Anyone else remember the original vid? Okay, I see why it's so hard to get "Have a Nice Day"... it's really new.

It sounds just like the classic 80's Bon Jovi, so I just assumed it had been around for eons.

I think the live version I found will work. I hope.

I need a popular (or fairly popular) 80's pop song about being totally hot for the object of your affection.

Everything I seem to find that's even remotely close is either a ballad (or what passed for a ballad in the 80s) or a downer. I don't want a downer.

This was a good vidding day. I woke up and finished the remaster of "I Am I, Don Quixote". It's a totally cosmetic remaster. I did very little in the way of making artistic/clip changes, but since I pulled the clips straight from the DVD it looks worlds better.

Problem: Vid works fine in it's own iMovie file, but when it exports, there's no sound.

Method: Discover problem when all 7 .dv files are dumped into iMovie 'master file' for use with iDVD. Fight with problem for an hour and a half.

Solution: Put song in sound track on master iMovie file. Line things up, huh zah. Sound for vid ( Read more... )
