 I haven't had too many really brilliant student gems this year, but there was a really great one today.

We're reading a book about a girl who is Good German Citizen during World War II who discovers that her parents are hiding Jews in their house.  As we pick up the book today I ask, "Who had come to visit during the night when I left off on Friday
