 I just took to Facebook to explain a "Where's Waldo" joke one of the Chicago Bears made today.  Our intrepid reporter ran the clip where the Bear-guy said something like, "We need to be really aware of [Minnesota player] on every single play.  He's Waldo."

And the reporter said, "I'd love to know what the Waldo remark was about."

A couple of weeks ago they referenced Where's Waldo on The Big Bang Theory. It's still out there. I think the reporter was a tad dim or was a bit flustered while taping.

Set of children's picture books where you find one person in large crowd scenes. The whole series is called some variant of "Where's Waldo."

That surprises me a bit -- it's the kind of thing that wouldn't be hard to sell in different languages because there's so little writing. The publisher fumbled with no overseas marketing!

Huh, I got it right away. Of course some people have different upbringings and maybe the reporters parents just never bought him a Waldo book. There are a lot of pop culture references that I don't get because I spent so much of my childhood by myself, reading.
