Know what I never ever was curious about? Not even a little tiny bit?  What he wanted to drink from the attendant on the flight.  There is seriously a level of "now you're just padding your story" happening with the Chicago coverage of this thing.

I think it's a kind of "last meal" thing -- if you were going to prison, where your food and drink diversity will be heavily regulated by someone who has zero interest in your welfare beyond state guidelines, what is the last thing you'd ask for to drink?
