Silly Brit-Pick question...

It's not a major plot point or anything, but are news papers in London delivered in the morning by someone tossing the thing on your doorstep?  If not, are they/how are they delivered and when?

Delivered in the morning by someone posting them through your letterbox (which is part of your front door)

If you have arranged with your local newsagent to have them delivered then a paper boy will post them through your letterbox. A lot of people will just buy the paper on their way to work, though. Or pick up a free one, since there are lots of these. Or get all the news they need online.

Seconding the above and adding that if you're in an apartment then your letterbox will probably be in the foyer, and if you have a long driveway or garden then you might (if you're nice to your postman) have a letterbox by the gate.

Yep they use a letter box in the door. I have an extra large one to get Saturday's paper through as it always has extras. They are delievered by paperboys or girls from the local newsagent.

Letter box like this
