Peppers can be a bitch. Milk will sooth the burn (while water won't) but it's worth it to get those thin plastic food service gloves for chopping/seeding them. Because if you think your eyes burn, imagine having a chef boyfriend who forgot, then got .... frisky with your nether regions.

Once, he did the same thing w/ himself, then went to go pee, a few minutes later, he had to dunk his junk in a bowl of milk.
I'm having this very, VERY cracked out mental image of you sitting in a bowl of milk... and your kitten deciding that she wants some. It's... odd, to say the least.
And yeah, I've got gloves... and now I know better.
I also found out that soap doesn't do anything to get rid of pepper/chili juice on your hands - wash your hands with fresh lemon juice and then water! XD

Yeah.
