Primeval's latest season finale would have won if it hadn't been officially canceled the week I watched it. As it was, I just went "OMG WTF? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?" instead of "OMG WTF I'M SO EXCITED FOR NEXT SEASON!" It's been renewed by now, of course, but for me the impact was lost ( Read more... )

I vote for the "Invasion" season/series finale. The moment when Tom is standing at that beach with blood all over his shirt is...chilling. I don't think any season finale has ever had that emotional impact on me.

I liked that finale, but I tried to really pick just a season ender, not a series finale (though, yeah, of course it wasn't supposed to be Invasion's finale).

Oh my god. Skins has some of the best tv moments of all time, I think. You're right - the ending to series 1...wtf?! Amazing. This absolutely blew me away too. I've seen this clip countless times (spoiler alert - series 4 finale):

Hah, those are exactly my two favorite scenes from that episode, too. Oh, and Pandora's adorable song, of course.
And I don't get why everybody screamed "WTF Cliffhanger!" after Season 4. It's totally clear to me that Cook will kick that creepy doctor's ass.
