"Stephen Fry is joining "Sherlock Holmes 2," as Mycroft Holmes, older brother of Robert Downey Jr.'s Sherlock, Variety reports.

Mycroft Holmes, superior in intellect to his younger brother but extremely lazy, appears in four of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories.

Fry announced Saturday that he had taken the role during a radio program on BBC."

I grin my shitty grin the whole day. My friends just never get me.
I tried to explain them how awesome it will be to add Stephen Fry to the movie, but they are not familiar with Mr. Fry, nor the novels, nor the logic of slashing, so they sadly don't understand :(

Honestly, I was not familiar with Mr. Fry since Wilde.... Which I learned about a year ago, so.... er..... oops. xD BUT STILL. I UNDERSTAND HIS AWESOMENESS NOW.

True, though. I have to explain slashing to some of my friends that I really like, but are braindead in the gay-fangirl department. I like, say it slowly and plainly and they go: "Ohhh, I get it!". Then three days later they are like, "What's slash?"

haha, BUTTler alarm clock. I don't think it will work for me though. Stephen's voice is so soothing.

My friend know I read "nasty stories" (it's their POV to slash, apparantly), but they don't get the thrill of shipping/slashing men.

Actually I only know Fry because of Wilde :D I know nothing more than you do. But at least we are not strange with his name (only because of Wilde, lol). My friends just never heard of him. How will the conversation go?

LOL IKR. That's the only thing that was worrying to me. But it has that little beepy thing after he speaks, so I guess they just use his voice as a soothing progression into wakefulness. :D Not a bad idea, really.

Lol, now, when you say you read "nasty stories", do you mean, just, pg slash, or do you mean, like..... well...... you know. 8D
