Yay, Books!
Finished Storm Front: Book One of the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. It was okay. I enjoyed the fantasy world with its own rules that the author created. I image that's what most people liked about the book. Reading -- or is it?
Finished Darkly Dreaming Dexter on audiobook. I probably wouldn't have finished it if I hadn't brought it with me on a 3+ hour car trip. Once you dedicate that much time to something, you might as well finish it. It wasn't bad, it just had lousy prose (which was the point) and flat characters (which was also the point). Just finished Rant by Chuck Palahnuik. Interesting read (as is, like, everything by him). I enjoyed it. Not my favorite, but I'm sure I'm going to be re-reading it soon. -

Update the second
Now have three completed first drafts on my hard drive, as well as a number of WIPs. So far they are all Heroes, because that is my current obsession. Next step is rewrites and then the mother of all beta searches. -

My efforts at journaling continue. I now have some icons.
