I can only hope, I've got a big project that's heavily utilizing MySQL. Tried postgres and it fell wayyy short in a lot of aspects.

I'm going to say coincidence since the 2nd article couldn't have interviewed all those people on 2006 revenue in less than 16 hours, and I doubt they was alerted to the Tuesday announcement in advance but decided to do a year end revenue piece instead.

But yah, aside from that - neat. :)
