A Post About Music, No Really!

Eh. I'm torn on the idea of "Twi-rock". I mean, on the one hand it's pretty awesome that wrock has gotten to the status that ickle baby fandoms quickly try to copy it. On the other hand... dammit, that's our fandom's thing, U NO CAN HAZ. :P

And really, if it had to be any fandom being the first to copy us...why Twilight? *whimpers* If there was Eragon-related "dragon rock" first or something, it might not be so bad. (Though I do realize that a lot of people hate Eragon for similar reasons, so others might not agree with me there. LOL.)

YOU KNOW WHAT THERE SHOULD BE. FRAGGLE ROCK. OH THAT'S RIGHT. THAT'D BE AWESOME.

I just think it's cool to see another fandom embrace it. I mean, there's lots of songs about Star Wars, but beyond Wrock, I've never seen a fandom make it a musical genre. And while, yeah, you know my feelings on Twilight, and personally I would love to see Stargate Rock before Twi-Rock, I still think it's cool.

They may embrace it, but we'll always know which fandom did it first. :D

I'm kind of like, really in love with him. Also, as I mentioned to sopdetly in her post, I would SO be the screamer in Arthur Dent's Pajamas. And you can that THAT any way you want. ;)

I guess I'm not really surprised to see that. And I agree, that is definitely the best description of Twilight I've ever read. Maybe I'll check out the bands, just to see.

grass_stained makes fun of me because (until recently) I was pretty much only listening to soundtracks from fandoms and Wizard Rock so whenever I can poke fun at myself regarding my musical tastes and interests, I do.

In other news: I'm going to see Leathermouth tonight! This is the fifth concert I've been to in my life and three of those other concerts were Wizard Rock! YES I AM A SHELTERED NERD!
