Question: Do you have any tips or hints on making mood themes. I was going to make mine, although with classes and all it will take me a while, but I was a bit confused last time I tried. I'm just using stills, no animations though, so any help would be mucho appreciated!
I didn't make my mood theme cowboyhd did but I'll try to help anyway if you want it.
I've only ever made two mood themes in my life. The reason is, they take a long time do do and they're a lot of work so I wish you nothing but the best of luck.
As far as tips, you obviously need a lot of images of whatever it is you are wanting the theme of. Not just a lot of images, but a lot of expressive images.
There is no right or wrong way of going about the actual creating process but I usually keep a list of all the moods I need and do them a few at a time while crossing them off as I go. I'll come back to the ones later that I have a hard time finding a perfect image of.
For a better looking mood image I would try some creative cropping and colouring (and sharpening just a bit) but that is up to you. It's however you think looks best. If you need any help you're more than welcome to contact me and I'd be happy to help in any way I can.
