[ Half of Puck's time is spent in a kitchen rifling through the fridge for food. Once he notices the kitchen, it's no different. Except that when he wanders on over and sees who exactly it is, he forgoes looking for said fridge in favour of bothering the familiar face. ]

I didn't know you could cook. [ He just automatically assumes most girls are like his mom and find cooking to be too much of a challenge. ]

He should! He treated you like shit, and that's not okay. Like, alright, I've done some shitty stuff to people I've dated, but nothing like that. You're too awesome to deal with someone so crappy.

[Finally allowing herself to glance at Puck, she gave gim a gentle nudge] You don't know him.

I don't want to. He's hurt you so many times, I mostly just want to punch him in the head.

Has there ever been a relationship where somebody didn't get hurt?

No, and I get that being hurt is part of like, the process of caring about someone. But- [ He huffs out a sigh, looking up at her. ] You are too amazing of a person to deal with a jerk like that. You and Ben deserve better.

[She can only meet his gaze for so long before she has to look away, blinking rapidly] As my friend, I think your sort of obligated to say that.

[puckerman]

I'm a douchebag, I'm not obligated to say anything to anyone. Trust me. [ He reaches out, grabbing one of her hands. ] Look. I mean it, alright? He doesn't deserve either of you.

[Swallowing hard, she gives his hand a gentle squeeze] You're not a douchebag. [Yeah, that's really her best attempt at changing the subject]
