I wish I could find something to invest my time in. Lucifer does nothing for me at all sadly not helped that I'm just not feeling It when It comes to the lead?
I've mainly been invested in (of all things) Chernobyl, which blew my mind away with the incredible performances and superb direction. Also just binged watched Stranger Things season 3, which sadly turned out to be a tad disappointing. :(
I get that Tom Ellis is a bit of an acquired taste. I find him funnier rather than sexy I suppose. I also enjoy the show's lightness which is a breath of fresh air.
I have heard good things about Chernobyl, but am bracing myself to watch it, I still remember it happening too so I need to be in the right frame of mind. The real world is so shite right now both here and across the Atlantic, that I am mainly going for escapism.
May save Stranger things for later this year but I did forget to mention Good Omens which I loved.
Yeah I liked Good Omens too. It needed tightening up in places, but It's the performances by the two leads that makes it great viewing.
Watching Chernobyl is quite an experience. It is not overly sentimental and has an almost documentary feel to it, but due to the superb performances, by well, everyone, really packs a punch. I've never cried so hard in my life! lol
Considering all the different platforms, there is so much good TV out there right now, fortunately the scripted show is really strong right now, but as you say not enough time.

I've been hearing good things about Lucifer and would like to watch it when I have time. (Which might translate to "never" in practice, sadly...)
