New layout and general blatherings about films

Just thought I'd mention my new layout and the inspiration for changing it.

1. The default icon is a real beauty made by the super talented rua1412 - I just love her work and snagged this Capt Jack one immediately and decided to try and make a lj layout to go with. I still think the icon is better than the layout

Beautiful layout and icon. PoC is definitely one of the movies/franchises I'll never get tired of watching. The first one is one of my favorite movies of all times. Back in high school my friend and I used to hold movie nights at least once a month, and we always watched PoC plus one other movie. But PoC was a must.
I once scared away a guy on a date because I was speaking all the lines with the movies. He was seriously weirded out by me *lol*

I could watch PoC over and over, not only beautiful cinematography but excellent story and acting. It gets everything right imo. Plus Captain Jack.Best.ever.

Steer clear of dates who don't get your quotes, fortunately my husband is well tuned to my fandoms.
