It's amazing how much for granted I took living near London.  A 20 minute train ride and you'd be there. Now we have to jaunt to the rellies and stay over night. This Easter El nagged us to go to London - she's been several times before but remembers little of it, so we have to revisit some places.  Top of her list was Madame Tussauds. Oh we live right beside St Katherine's Docks! If I'd known you were coming, woulda joined you for that pint. :D Sorry to hear Madame Tussaud's wasn't awesome though. We haven't been yet; do you think it's worth going at least once?

Love, love, love the HP studio tour pics. Sounds like you had a real blast. I'm just about to book for my birthday - not until September but I think it would make a real birthday treat. :D

Really? That's a great spot to live in London, I used to work in the late 70's at an Admiralty Agency near there, so I knew that area down by the Tower and St Katherines quite well - I see there's been some fabulous development there but it still has it's charm intact. Now we know where you are we'll let you know when we are getting the pints in at the Dickens.

I think Mme Tussauds is something you should see once perhaps? We didn't do the scary bit as El doesn't like that sort of thing, I much rather preferred HP tour though. We took so many photos and video, parts of it like the special and visual effects sections I wanted give more time to, but everyone was flagging. We were there over 8 hours. Gift Shop was pricey as you'd expect and they'd sold out of Bertie Bott's 'Every Flavour Beans' so I had to make do with a chocolate frog.
