Alphonse had been trying a lot to do better, now - now that he'd been scolded more than once about his behaviour, and had...a few good talking-tos about it, as well. He really didn't want to do anything else wrong - he wanted to be good and to stay out of trouble, and avoid having either Nanaki or Lorenzo upset with him in any sense. They were probably the main two people he had left...he hadn't seen (figuratively) many of his other friends in...a long time (which worried him), and Zetsu and Mio and his brother had...Nanaki and Lorenzo seemed almost like they were the only ones left. He was too scared to search out any of the other friends, now...if they saw him the way he was now, he wasn't sure what they would do or say or think. So it was...safer, for now, to stay with them. He was just...a little scared, still.
He was with Nanaki, at the time - Lorenzo had gone off, again, and he was left with his friend, to stay safe out of trouble (he really was trying, now. He resisted the urges, the pulls, the instincts - ). He...really didn't mind, though. He was more than glad for the company. He frowned, though, as he realised...another thing that was bothering him - less serious than what was on his mind, perhaps, but still something to be taken care of.
"N-Nanaki?" he tried, softly.
