Summary: Lorenzo and Alphonse meet up and the phantasms rudely interrupt the cuteness.

In spite of his room locking and a few other unpleasant matters, the night had run surprisingly smoothly compared to the former one. He and Red had taken to a different bedroom, next to one decorated in red. The furniture was oddly shaped, but that was no matter. It was a little more spacious than their old room and they could both agree on it, therefore it was fine as a temporary room. He really did need to talk to the child about making it their permanent residence, he didn't favor the idea of leaving the kid in a different room by his lonesome. Not with the monsters and other things that came out at night.
He didn't like the idea of leaving Alphonse alone, either, although he had somehow lost track of both of them, a problem which he had every intention of remedying. He'd already decided he would not let anything happen to either of them somewhere along the line and so letting them wander about with the monsters probably wasn't very smart to begin with. Especially Alphonse, being that he was blind and that his brother was even less competent than usual tonight.
So it was that he'd set out, moving down the hallway and towards the stairs. With any luck, Red wouldn't be hard to find and Alphonse would have stayed downstairs tonight and bypassed the annoyances of the upstairs monsters, although he wouldn't have been surprised if he had been upstairs unaccompanied. Honestly, kids today were so reckless...
