Time: Night 004, a little after Zetsu gets dragged off in Thus Spoke Lorenzo
Summary: Koizumi and Mio encounter each other in the nursery and it is incredibly awkward.
Warnings: Dead baby.
Mio couldn't quite explain it, but she felt almost instinctively drawn back to the nursery. Maybe it was due to the maternal feelings that the mother ghost had thrust upon her during her the previous night and even the first one. But then, maybe it was just that it was a child - a baby - laying there dead that tugged at her heartstrings. She didn't know, but it hardly seemed to matter. With Zetsu gone, busy with other matters, she'd ended up here again. She wondered about that child, about what had happened to it.
She wondered what had happened to Allison as well, both during her life and this night. She had not appeared in the hallways tonight, nor had any of the other ghosts. The house felt somehow empty without them, without the mute ghost girl...briefly, the exorcist wondered just when she'd developed such an attachment to ghosts. She didn't remember entering All God's Village with this kind of desire to see them, feeing somehow emptier without them, without Winny and Allison...although she knew eventually she'd have to let go anyway. She let out a sigh, wondering just how the mother must have felt to have found her child, to have lost it...
Lost in thought, Mio wasn't aware of the fact that she had sat in the rocking chair, nor that she was idly humming the lullaby the mother had sung for her the previous night in that sweet, maternal voice of hers.
