Likewise, Keigo was feeling rather comfy and cozy in the chair he had fallen asleep in, having curled up into it at some point and drawn his legs up from the table. It was kind of amazing that he could sleep so comfortably in the position he was in, but it would probably be short-lived.

He was in a rather deep sleep, mostly onset by the amount of alcohol he ingested earlier in the evening. It was safe to say that it was the most he had ever drank in his entire life, and the lack of response to Renji's outburst only made that fact more obvious.

It wasn't until Renji actually shook his shoulder did Keigo stir, but it wasn't much. "...Mmn..." He grunted quietly, his brow knitting. He shifted and turned more on his back, his long legs dangling off the arm of the chair instead. "Nooo... Nee-sannn.... five more minutessss..." And a hiccup. Such a heavy sleeper.

Renji's eyebrow twitched as Keigo barely moved at all in response to his exclamation, and gave the human's shoulder another shake. "Hey! You listening to me? The door, idiot, it's-"

Nee-san? Had Keigo just called him nee-san?! Renji's twitch got worse and he brought his knuckles against the top of Keigo's head and rubbed them down in a noogie-like motion. "HEY! WAKE UP! I'M NOT ANYONE'S SISTER!"

Really. The nerve. He was the 6th Division's Fukutaichou. Why did he have to put up with this kind of crap?

Renji's continued rambling gained the same amount of response from Keigo as before: a mumble and a small movement against the chair, but really nothing else. The second shake got a little more out of him; a grunt and frustrated groan, his arm moving up to bat at whatever the source was.

But, the last gesture was what really got Keigo up. The feeling of knuckles grinding into his scalp and skull caused Keigo to all but shriek, flailing around horribly in the chair before he outright fell out of it and onto the floor with a thud.

"IYAAAAAAAA!! W-w-w-w-wh--..." He looked around himself rapidly, vastly disoriented until he looked up and saw Renji. Eyes wide, he momentarily wondered why a familiar-looking Shinigami was hovering over him, and then he remembered.

"...A-Abarai! What is it?? Why did you wake me up??" Still a bit plagued by sleep, Keigo reached up and rubbed his eyes.. and then the top of his head. Ow. "And what was that for?? I didn't do anything!!"

Renji was pleased when Keigo smacked the floor and he actually let out a snicker when he started to yell. He did laugh at the expression on Keigo's face, all shocked and wide-eyed like a deer in headlights. He'd have to scare the crap out of Keigo more often.

"I woke you up cause the damn door is open, Asano! Like I said fifty times." Renji might have been exaggerating, but who cared? "We should go and take a look just where the hell we are, yeah?" It made sense to him!

He made a face at Keigo's question and shrugged. "You weren't waking up- you just kept making dumb noises and curling up in your chair. Had to wake you up somehow." That and it was fun. A lot of fun. Hah.
