Summary: Courtney mopes in bed. A WILD MEW APPEARS and cheers her up. They're then greeted by samurai spider-bangs Nataku.
Warnings: Courtney is emopants. Mew's cuteness may be hazardous to health.

Mew drifted in front of the door, poking one round eye around the corner to look inside. She didn't want to just barge in, but she sensed somebody nearby and wanted to say hi. She blinked, spotting a girl inside. "Mew?"

"Uh?" The girl looked up, slightly surprised. She didn't really expect monsters to make kitten noises... or was this a new kind of monster thing, that tried to endear you in with cuteness? Hard to tell. "Who's there?" she called out, furrowing her brow.

"Mew!" Mew answered honestly, moving a little more into the door and rolling upside-down in the air. She waved with a short paw.

It took a moment for Courtney to pinpoint where the creature was from. She thought she'd seen cartoon art of it somewhere, when she was living in the city. Then she remembered, furrowing her brow as she did.

"Oh, great. There's pokémon in here? Give me strength." She landed her head back in the pillow, wanting to curl up and die. "You know, it was freaky enough when characters from movies started showing up here, but this is getting stupid. Lemme guess, you just showed up, right?" More glaring - she really was in a bad mood.

An aggravated sigh, at both of them, and she was tempted to shoo them both out. But Mew was cute, and Nataku was familiar, if incomprehensible. Moving to the stash of food she'd amassed, she took some sour cream and onion kettle chips from the top and opened it up, offering some to Nataku (and by proximity, Mew). "The fabled Crumrin cuisine," she remarked sardonically.

Mew tilted her head, taking a chip in her little paws and sniffing at it. What a strange kind of food this was! But it smelled kind of good. Mew nibbled at it and then looped happily, showing Courtney that she liked it.

He tilted his head at almost the same time Mew did and grabbed some chips. Food was always good and he found that Courtney was kind of interesting to hang out with when her insults were incomprehensible.

His eyes widened. These things were good and he reached out to grab some more from the blonde.
