Rikku hadn't seen every part of the house just yet, so she'd decided to go exploring.

That was a bad, terrible, horrible, nonono idea. Why'd she even decide to go down those creepy stairs, anyway? This place was seriously giving her the chills. The thief rubbed her arms, hunched over slightly as she looked around warily. Someone needed to put a light down here or something.

But as she looked around, she caught a glimpse of movement, and, her feet moving before her brain could catch up, she started moving in its direction.

Were those bones? Were those skulls? Way, way, way too creepy.

It was then that she finally saw the transparent dog digging at the wall and the Al Bhed could only stop and stare. A ghost? But it wasn't night time, was it? What if she was down here for longer than she thought?!

Nice ghostie... Just keep going after that bone... she thought to herself as she swallowed, attempting to sneak away.

Huffing playfully to himself again as the bone started to shake loose, Zero's ears shot up with glee as it finally loosened enough for him to grab it with his mouth and start to tug it out. Yaaay! Now if he could just... With a concentrated look on his face, the ghostly canine tugged backwards with all of his strength as the other end of the bone slowly worked loose, growling as much as he could with his mouth full. As the bone pulled free, he apparently misjudged the strength of his final pull, falling and flipping over backwards before he caught himself with a shake. Oh, boy! He finally had a bone that was all his ( ... )

Rikku was ready to run. She was ready to get out of there before the ghost dog noticed her. However... it seemed as though her legs didn't want to cooperate with her today, and she instead stood stock still where she was, her eyes squeezed shut.

Slowly, however, an emerald-colored eye inched open as the dog made a noise. Huh? That was weird... It seemed more curious than anything else.

And... kinda cute, too.

After a moment, she finally opened both her eyes and quirked a small smile, only to get distracted by the new arrival. Were those wings on that girl's back? There were just strange things all over, weren't there? Rikku was surprised she wasn't used to it by now.

"Um... hello?" she offered sheepishly to both the girl and the dog.

The sheet shot back and assumed a dog's shape... That was certainly strange... At least the human seemed as confused as she was, Suigintou thought. No that wasn't right, she was more scared, wasn't she?

Suigintou remembered herself and assumed a more independent and powerful poise. She puffed out her wingspan, rising a few inches from the ground, just enough to seem bigger then she really was and did her best to seem naturally intimidating.

"What do you want" ,She asked defensively and turned back to the dog...sheet and continued, "and what is that?"
