An Entrance [Open/Active]

Setting: Entrance Room
Time: Night 18
Summary: Maya finds herself in the Dollsyhouse, confused, disoriented, basically newbie post
Warnings: None.
The feeling of falling. Oppressive, pushing, pulling, almost biting. The blackness flows around her like a muddy liquid, clinging slightly to her body as she falls. A spark of intuition, the memory of an oddity, something strange about the stairs she descended while heading to school. Then the clinging blackness. Just before she feels she cannot bear the sensation anymore, the darkness instantly disappears to be replaced by a blinding light as her eyes adjust.
What appeared to be brilliant light was simply a small lamp on an fashioned end table. She looked around, her long silver-white hair slowly falling from her shoulders and spilling elegantly through the air. "Wha-?" She mumbled softly. "Where... where am I?" Her voice strong, breaking slightly, a mellow and mature sounding voice. "All I remember is going to school... and then tripping..." The spark of memory comes back to her, then fades again. She made to stand up, but found fatigue pressing down on her like the blackness of the dream. Or, whatever it was. "Was it a dream? Where am I?" She repeated, looking around and taking in fully her surroundings. The walls were beautifully decorated in flowered plaster swirls, and the windows showed only a dark sky with a few stars. Again she tried to stand and found that she could, grabbing onto the wall as a brace. I need to find a place to sit, something like a chair. That or a bed. I'm exhausted, she thought, looking around for one.
"Are there any other people here?" She called out clearly into the slumbering house. "Anyone home? Can ANYONE tell me what's going on?" Her voice rose to an almost hysteric level, fear settled into her eyes.
