Sekai had been enjoying herself with the girl that had - most likely - become her best friend in the house, since their first meeting. It seemed like fun, friendly girls her age were a rare thing in this place, so Sekai really enjoyed Marta's company. So it was no surprise that the two of them were hanging out somewhere (and the Observatory was as nice a room as anyway, wasn't it?), chatting away. Just getting a chance to talk and gossip, the sort of thing girls were supposed to do.

Unfortunately, it was interrupted pretty thoroughly when a boy - around their age, give or take - came barrelling into the room, before collapsing onto the floor, pulling himself up and grumbling. Sekai let out something like a shriek of surprise, jumping a bit and staring for a long moment, before she finally exchanged a glance with Marta, and managed to speak up.

"You okay?

Of all the things that Marta had expected to come up during her chat with Sekai, a boy rolling into the room was not one of them. Like Sekai, she jumped with a shrill cry, instictively reaching for her spinner before she finally realized it was just a boy. A boy who was currently picking himself off of the floor and grumbling to himself. For a moment she could only stare at him, shocked and more than a little confused.

She exchanged glances with Sekai before scanning the room for an invisible menace or anything else that might have justified the motion. Finding that the was nothing (which wasn't that surprising--after all, the really creepy stuff only came out at night), she followed up Sekai's question with one of her own.

"What happened?"

Looking up at the girls he'd (almost literally) stumbled upon, Yosuke froze like a deer caught in headlights.

How the hell was he going to explain this one away?

Clearing his throat too loudly and getting to his feet too quickly, Yosuke tried his hardest to pretend he hadn't just escaped from the most confusing, awkward, embarrassing situation of his life. His natural goofiness helped, but the gigantic blush across his face and his nervous glancing towards the entrance did little for him. They were like giant flashing neon signs blinking AWKWARD with arrows pointing straight towards him.

"Yeah, I-I'm fine!" Oh, great job. Stuttering makes you look so collected.

Cursing mentally, he took a deep breath before continuing. "Oh, nothing, you know. Just uh, getting some exercise! Yeah, exercise."

It didn't take a genius to figure out that this boy wasn't quite as he presented himself - at least, that he really wasn't just exercising. Unless he was exercising his ability to be awkward, or something. It was pretty obvious, Sekai felt, that this boy was embarrassed, and thoroughly. Though whether that was because of the situation or something else was a bit harder to discern.

Of course, the fact that Sekai was a little bit mischievous didn't help things at all - it wasn't long before a a teasing smile broke her lips apart without much thought of the appearance of it.

"Oh yeah?" she asked, voice light-hearted as she eyed him. Before she continued, she gave Marta a sideways glance, wondering if she might be on the same page. It might have been a little mean, but it'd be all in good fun, right? "Just going for a jog?"

An amused smile rose to Marta's face as the boy tried to hide how flustered he was by claiming that he'd simply been exercising. He didn't really expect them to believe that, did he? Then again, it wasn't like it was the worst excuse she'd heard, and it was always kind of cute when a cute boy flounder as they tried to find some way to hide their embarrassment.

She exchanged glances with Sekai once more, the look on her face confirming that they were on the same wavelength. She placed her hands behind her back and leaning forward a bit and smiling a bit more. "That must've been so jog," she added without waiting for him to confirm whether or not that was the case.

(ooc: Sorry for making you guys wait so long to write such a short and crappy tag :c)
