This house was draining. There was so much to take in and so much to try to understand. Why was he stuck here? Why couldn't he get home? Why was he separated from Sora? How did he end up separated from Sora? More importantly, why did this place seem so... familiar? His curiosity had proven to be his downfall in the past and it was not a mistake he meant to repeat, but there were so many questions he needed answers to.

And the people he met before... they mentioned something about monsters. At first he assumed they were talking about Heartless or maybe even some of the lesser Nobodies, but from their reactions it was fairly clear that wasn't the case. Maybe it was time to put the skills he gained from the Organization to use -- time to do some recon.

But first he needed to take a shower. After wandering around all day he felt disgusting. Granted it was almost nice to think that he actually needed a shower. Not Sora, but him. This whole "being his own person" thing was going to take some getting used to ( ... )

The door opening had startled Mello a bit, and he froze for a moment, practically gaping at the boy who had just come in.

...Ah, a person. Well, that was somewhat of a relief. If everything in the house was really out to get him, it would be helpful to be around other people, even if the person in question did appear to be--apart from already undressing himself as though he was right about to jump in the shower-- rather young.

" 's alright," he answered nonchalantly. "I'm only washing my hands; it's not like I'm fucking naked or anything, is it?" He turned the faucet off and dried his hands on a nearby towel, glancing over to give the boy a rather feigned smile. Just to be damn polite... "Still though," he said, "You could've bloody knocked, y'know? This is a bathroom, after all. Keep that up and chances are, you'll just waltz in when someone's on the toilet next time."

Roxas let out a bit of a nervous laugh, quickly shoving his shirt back on over his head. "Y-yeah, sorry about that. I keep forgetting how many people are in this house. I see everyone walking around, but it still feels so empty here."

Awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck, Roxas motioned towards the door. "Though you could have locked the door."

"You're pretty new here, huh?"

Judging by the way the kid was acting, and what he was saying, Mello guessed that was the case. He didn't seem to be used to the house at all; unless he was just stupid, there was no way he could have been here for very long. He'd certainly been here for long enough to have known where the bathroom was, though apparently not long enough to know the doors didn't lock...

"You tell me..." He gave the kid a questioning look and gestured towards the door. "That door look like it has a lock on it?"
