The diclonious waved and managed a muffled greeting around a mouthful of rice brought up from the kitchen, sitting on the bed with several bags of chips beside her. After swallowing the remains of her meal, she made her offer. "I brought snacks. Ooh, and these!" She states gleefully, holding up a small box of animal crackers. "I could put them around my room, you know, like they're standing up! Wouldn't it be cute?"

It was then that she took note of Mio's condition. "What happened? Why are you out of breath? Ooh, pictures, can I see?"

Nana hopped off the bed, practically bouncing over Mio to look at the pictures. "Um......what is that?"

Mio returned the wave with her free hand, her mood immediately brightening a little as she saw her friend from before. Good, that meant she could warn her about the monsters - hopefully she hadn't run into any yet. Some of them were rather frightening and she didn't want to see anything happen to the poor girl.

"That'd be adorable~" She tilted her head slightly to one side as she closed the door behind her, "Have you found a room to stay in yet?"

If she hadn't, Mio had every intention of offering to share her room with Nana. She couldn't just leave her to fend for herself and Mio thought having company would be nice. In response to the second wave of questions, she closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. Explanation time, "Well, you see..." she began, trying to think of a tactful way to word it and failing, "I...had a run in with a ghost."

"Oh... I... didn't think about that. I haven't really looked yet."

It took Nana a full minute to process the second statement. Mayu had told her there was no such thing. Mayu wouldn't lie, she'd never lie. Why would her new friend Mio lie? Unless it was a joke. Mayu's joke hadn't been funny either, though. Wait! What if Mayu was wrong? Mayu hadn't beleived her about Lucy either. Maybe ghosts could only hurt you if you beleived in them? Or was that fairies? Or was that just cartoons?

"...Are you sure?"

Nana looked absolutely terrified. "M...Monsters? Like... big scary things?" She practically sprints over to the bed and sits on it, pulling her legs up, clearly so anything she can't see doesn't get her.

An idea occurs to her. "Or... are they monsters like Lucy? Because if they are, I can stop them!"
