Summary: In an attempt to escape Amy's wrath when he returned from the story of King Arthur, Sonic inadvertently finds himself tripping and ending up in yet another world

9 needed some kind of signal that he was there. He'd decided it earlier on, but, the moment he was nearly plowed through by a blue blur-- as soon as his head had ceased spinning-- he made a definite note to find some kind of something to keep himself from being stepped on.

He fell aside with a yelp as Sonic nearly ran over him, the wind Sonic had created forcing him aside so that he rolled and struck the wall nearby. He laid there for a moment, stunned.

"Wha-?"

The sound of someone skidding to a halt is heard and Sonic may just get targeted by any housecleaning ghosts because that carpet has a nasty burn going right down the middle of it now. It felt like he had run over something (and he would know, after all the bumpy roads he's run on) and had heard a yelp as well. Which was funny, since he didn't see anything or anyone while he was going down the hall...

Then again, he didn't notice Chip until he fell on top of the guy either.

"Um..." Plain hallway? Check. Somewhat ruined carpet? Check. Random ragdoll sitting up against the wall? Check... Wait, something does not belong with the others.

"???"

After a beat, 9 shook his head, blinking to try and refocus his lenses.

"What-- what was that?"

Whoa, it talks!

Looking around to see if it wasn't some ventriloquist - because Wentos and Chao were good at selling stuff, but better at the whole puppet deal - lurking around the corner, Sonic zips over to look at the tiny ragdoll. Or not so small, considering how the blue hedgehog was about half the height of most of the humans here.

"Hey there. Didn't hurt ya too badly, did I?"

9 jumps, obviously startled by the new creature-- it wasn't human or a machine, so what was it? (And considering that he couldn't be more than five inches tall, 9 was quite small in comparison to most creatures.)

"I-I--" Tonight was not his night. This was the second time he'd been struck dumb by one of the other people in the house. He took a second to try and steady himself before continuing, and shook his head. "I'm alright. Just-- that was you?"

Yea, this guy definitely reminded him a bit of Chip just... not so hyper. Even Caliburn had more energy than this guy; just what was it so afraid of?

But Sonic, being who he is, couldn't stay afraid. Heck, 'scared' wasn't in his vocabulary unless his two greatest fears were around and so far as he could see, neither of them were in this strange place. "Yea, didn't see you there for a moment. Sorry~" but there's a confident (if sheepish) grin on his face as he apologizes.

"So any idea what's up with these glowing things?"

... A bit blunt, but then again, this is Sonic...
