Shilo had had a long night, honestly. Her leg was still hurt, and then there was everything that had happened with Mewtwo, Mew and Misty... honestly, it was a bit much in all. She almost missed he safety of her bedroom back home.

Almost.

Honestly, she wasn't that surprised or anything. The reason she'd been stuck in her room all the time was, in part, 'cause it was dangerous, right? So it made sense... even if this probably wasn't quite what her dad had meant.

Speaking of him...

The thought was cut short, though, as she suddenly felt something long and hard collide with her, and she winced sharply, "ow!" she snapped, and looked over at the boy it seemed to belong to. At least he was apologising, right?

She hesitated before trying to speak herself, "Uh... it's okay, I guess."

Spot reached down to pick up the cane and glanced up at the girl. She was awfully pretty, even with the limp and the stark black hair. "Ya ain't hoit ah ya?" Spot straightened up and pushed the brim of his hat back. "Ah noimally don't make a habit of t'rowin' canes at pretty goils," Spot gave her a smile.

"Me name's Spot, Spot Conlon," He extended a spit-free hand after reminding himself that girls usually don't enjoy spitshaking. "What's yoahs, Doll?" While he was introducing himself, Spot had slid his cane into his suspender straps and had adopted his usualy womanizing posture.

This girl, whoever she was, did look like a doll. Her skin was pale and flawless and her eyes were big and shiny, just like the dolls he saw sitting in the windows of downtown New York. Even her clothes looked like a doll's because they had an old-fashioned.

Needless to say, Spot was intrigued.

Shilo hesitated a minute, and it took her a few long seconds to work out what the boy was saying to her. But after a moment she picked apart the accent in her head and responded in turn, "Um... I'm fine, thanks." she said, a bit awkwardly. She didn't know what to say to his second statement, so she moved onto the introductions just like that.

"I'm Shilo," she said, managing a bit of a smile as she hesitantly reached to take his hand, "Shilo Wallace." His name was a bit weirder than what she was used to, back home, but she was getting pretty used to weird. After all, she was friends with a big cat monster thing.

She shifted a little bit as she pulled her hand away, unsure of what else to say. Instead she tucked a bit of the black wig's hair out of her face and behind her ear. "And... sorry if I was in your way or whatever."

"Ya woi'ent in my way, me cane got outa control's all," Spot gave her a grin and pulled his hat off and ran a hand through his hair. "And it's a pleashah, Mizz Wallace," Spot gave the girl a bow.

"So, wheah you'se headin'?" Spot tucked his hat into his back pocket and shoved his hands into the front pockets, trying to project an image of confidence. "Stupid question I know, but I was wonderin', if ya have no objections to it, if I may escoit ya dere? I ain't really got anybody in this crazy place ta keep me company. Meet dis goil, but I t'ink I scared her," Spot shrugged.

"... yeah, nice to meet you, too, I guess." she answered, still a bit awkward around people - especially ones acting... well, quite like this, anyway. She shifted on her feet a bit, not positive about how she was supposed to react to the gesture.

"Oh, uh... just wandering," she said, glancing around her once. She'd been heading to her room, but... this didn't seem like the right hall after all. This house was kind of annoying.

She was surprised, though, at the offer and the statement, "... that'd be fine, sure." she said, before asking for her curiosity: "Who was it?"
