Chitose knew the house was supposed to be dangerous at night, but she hadn't seen much. Still, she wanted to find somewhere out of the way to hide. It didn't seem like many people went into the entrence room except when they came in, so the closet there, she was sure, would be safe.

Her hand found and turned the corner before the rest of her did, sticking close to make up for her poor eyesight. It was, therefore, a few moments before she saw the man before her.

She froze, looking up at him and wondering if she should run or not.
