Characters: Story, Usopp, Open Setting: Doll Bathroom Time: Day 11, after Misty is done and gone Summary: Story guards her bathtub and waits for Sanji, Usopp, and the others Warnings: None yet
Usopp grinned, looking through his bag to see a wide variety of new toys to use as ammunition. He almost wanted to wander around when the monsters came out to see what use they'd be.
Heading down towards the parlor where Little Luffy had found Sanji, though, he heard something strange. Crying, from one of the bathrooms.
That's weird, he thought. He knocked on the door. "Hello? Is someone in there?"
Story jumped when somebody knocked on the door and called through it too her. "Usopp?" She squeaked. She got to her knees and shuffled forward to the edge of the tub and gripped it. "The door's open Usopp,"
Story scrubbed her face with her shirt sleeves in an attempt to erase the evidence of her tears but she could see herself in the mirror. Her eyes were red and her cheeks were blotchy. "Please come in,"
"Story?" he asked. Well, it was one of the bathrooms and she did need a lot of water. He slowly creaked open the door and saw her sitting in the bathroom. Watanuki was strangely absent and she looked a little upset.
"I'm fine," Story lied breathlessly. She was so happy to see him. Story stumbled over to Usopp and hugged him around the middle and burried her face in his chest.
"Watanuki went to find you and Sanji so we could move the bathtub," Story explained, her voice muffled slightly. "I made him angry. I said something and I didn't know it would affect him like it did and now he's scared and angry. He pretends like it's fine but...you can't lie to a narf," Story warbled. She felt like she was going to cry again but wouldn't let herself.
Usopp was baffled to say the least. Sounded like she and Watanuki had a little fight.
I don't know Story that well but I know Watanuki doesn't strike me as the kind to start a fight. "Can you tell me what happened? What did you do to get Watanuki so upset?"
