Time: Day 10, Early Afternoon
Summary: Machi and Al meet again while Machi is looking for Anna. Epic awkward.

Machi passed the pool silently--he was nervous around it, and for very good reason; the bloated, floating body at the bottom aside, Machi didn't know how to swim. It was not a skill he'd ever acquired, or thought of doing so--had never come up before, and there had been no convenient lakes in Borginia to learn at, nor any reason to do so and certainly no good time for it. As a result, he walked as quickly as he could around the edge, stepping carefully to avoid slipping--he was looking for Anna, but she obviously wasn't here and he'd checked the locker rooms thoroughly enough to move on.
