Characters: Koizumi Itsuki
Setting: Blue Kitchen, various bedrooms along the Rose Hall later?
Time: Day 002, early morning
Summary: Koizumi puts up a note in the Blue Kitchen, which you probably want to read- and proceeds to knock on doors and harass anyone who was trying to sleep.
Warnings: Steak knives. This is srs business. >=|
Koizumi was in despair. There were no thumbtacks in the kitchen. There was no tape. There was no handy magnets on the fridge, or anything else that might prove itself useful in posting the notice he had just written up. He had hoped that he could find something like that after he put Shinji to bed, but he'd had no luck- maybe the study would have some, but he wasn't about to go back in there just yet. He could just leave the note on the table, but it would hardly be noticed there. And that's assuming that no one ran off with it. He scowled at it, then at the fridge door, and at the wood cabinets to their left.
Wood cabinets.
Ah. Well. It was a crude solution, but it would do. He might be worried about property damage if the house hadn't already tried to kill him. He pulled open drawers until he foud a sufficiently sharp steak knife, held the paper against the cabinet, and stabbed the cheerful blue door with all his might. The knife sunk into the wood with a satisfying k-thunk, burying half the blade and securing the note. Crude, yes. But at least people would pay attention to it.
Dear Residents,
I am looking for volunteers to help with an in-depth exploration of the house. We will be mapping rooms and taking measurments to find any gaps that may indicate hidden rooms or passages, and may lead to an exit. If any of you have a meterstick or tape measure, it would be immensely helpful to us. If you are interested in assissting the investigation or providing supplies, please contact Koizumi Itsuki. I may be in the second floor, in the first bedroom on the right. If I am not, you may leave a note and I will contact you.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Koizumi Itsuki
P.S. I'm sorry about the knife. Donations of thumbtacks and tape are also appreciated.
...It would do. He picked up the bentos and the paper again and headed for the second floor. It was curious that there was another door in the grand room, but he was going to spend the rest of the day exploring; he really ought to speak to Zetsu and the camera girl first. Which would be easier if he knew where they were. He knocked on the first door he came to on the second floor, since that seemed to be where all the rooms were, and waited for an answer.
And waited.
And waited.
And mentally added that to his list of rooms to check out later; he needed a better place to sleep. He moved on to the next door on the hallway and knocked again.
