Jeez, this guy was a bit bitter and antisocial, it seemed. He still didn't seem to understand what she meant completely (if the echoing was anything to go by, at any rate), but he was still saying it was stupid to have done. She didn't want to think that it was - but did it really matter, anyway? Probably not.
"Well I couldn't have just left you there." she insisted, despite his harsh reprimand. "Anyway, it doesn't really matter any more, does it?" What was done was done: she helped him and it wasn't like he could make her put him back there or something.

He glanced away, considering that. [Hmm.] The syllable was laden with thought--for a second, it looked like he wasn't going to let it go, but then he turned his head to look at her again, his deep purple eyes unblinking. The next words, however, were some of the most difficult he had ever said in his life. [Very well. It seems I have been aided... rescued, perhaps, by a human.] He paused, struggling with that. 'Rescued?' It had never seemed possible--he had never thought or even imagined--that there was anything such a mere creature could do to... 'aid' him. And yet...
...hmm. The fact that she had even considered helping him... was... unusual. Unique. Perhaps she was unique--among humans, such selfish, greedy creatures--a unique human. Or perhaps... his gaze sharpened, eyes narrowing.
"Seems so." she said to his first comment, smiling a little. Well what else could she even say to that? He was pretty odd - in more than one way - so she was just trying her best here, despite that. Anyway, there wasn't a better way to phrase it, or anything like that, after all.
His question, on the other hand, caught her off guard. What was she planning? He made it sound like Shilo was going to do something horrible to him, or whatever... and honestly, she wasn't sure if she was supposed to do something. The closest thing she knew to this situation was what she had with her dad, and she never exactly thought that was normal.
"Um..." she started, awkwardly, "I guess I thought I should keep an eye on you, I guess." she admitted, before adding, quickly: "But I guess I can't stop you from leaving."
...she might want to, though. He still seemed pretty weak.
...keep an eye on him? For one brief, wild moment, rage bubbled up in him, flaring through his mind, and suddenly his pupils narrowed into slits, a powerful blue glow illuminating the room--he was thrown backwards, slamming into the wall with a brief sound of surprise, but it was the furniture that suffered most, twisting and warping, heart monitors going berserk, sheets flying and beds disintegrating from the outside in.
He hit the wall hard, though, and bounced off like a doll--there was another, sudden, white flash... then everything went quiet. He opened his eyes slowly--they were normal again, angular and purple, but with no mysterious blue glow, no psychic light. [...what...?!]
Shilo jumped up at the sudden flash of light, before Mewtwo slammed into the wall. She let out a startled shout and covered her head slightly, cringing at the sudden destruction to parts of the room. What... what was happening here?! She had no idea what had happened, just that it must have had something to do with Mewtwo:
When she opened her eyes again he was slumped against the wall, slumped and seemingly confused as well.
She hesitated for a moment before she moved over, closer to him.

[...what... are you planning to do with me now?]
