Characters: Chie, Yosuke, anyone else Setting: Perfume Bedroom Time: Day 10 Summary: Chie is doing her makeup, much to the surprise of Yosuke. Warnings: none
Yosuke had woken up tired, but that was becoming the norm for the boy. From when he woke up to when he finally let himself lay back down, he was always tired. It was a pain, but nothing he thought too odd as he forced himself out of bed, yawning and stretching. After the stuff they had to go through on a regular basis, who wouldn't feel worn out? Convincing himself it was normal was just another ritual he went through as he slipped on his shoes and headphones, leaving his jacket behind as he began wandering the halls

Chie's eyes didn't move from the mirror as she focused on finishing the job she'd started. That wouldn't stop her from answering, though. She could multitask.
"Some people like to take care of themselves," she said, even as she leaned forward a bit to better see what she was doing. Once she'd finished, she turned around and got a good look at Yosuke. He didn't look well; it had been hard to tell last time she'd seen him, when things had been hectic, but had he lost weight? She frowned.
"Hey! What're you trying to say?" His tone was defensive, but Yosuke found himself taking a few steps into the room towards her and regretting it almost instantly. Coughing on the thick scent of perfume in the room, he cursed himself for not being more aware. He always hated that area of Junes, with all the perfumes and smelly crap that always seemed to meld together into one muggy mass of air. The room was just as bad, if not worse. Still, coughing fit aside, he had a point to make.
"I've been taking care of myself! I'm still alive, aren't I?"
Chie moved forward to catch Yosuke's shirt and tug it tight around him; she was sure he was losing weight, and the amount of extra cloth just proved it. She looked up at him with her usual "I told you so" look, although there was worry beneath it. He didn't have much weight to lose.
The silence was comfortable, and it took Chie quite a while, almost to the point of falling asleep, before she realized what was going on. More than Yosuke's presence, it was the increasing scent of perfume that stirred her, and she jerked up and looked around. Noticing how close Yosuke was, she blushed.
"I-um," Chie opened her mouth before she realized she had no idea what to say, and was left just watching Yosuke.
