Just passing through one last time; that was all Shilo was really doing. She'd spent most of the day - it being as long as it was - so far just wandering. Meeting new people, seeing what she hadn't seen yet. Actually, she was kind of proud of herself for...actually getting out there, finally. Anyway, it was better than acting like how she was at home, and just staying cooped up in her room all the time. Not that the one here was technically her room, but that wasn't the point.

Because of that, she again was coming into the dimly lit room when she suddenly heard a voice calling out, asking it someone was 'home'. She grimaced a little bit, and took another half step into the room, cautiously glancing up in an attempt to see the other person in the room. Someone new again...? That kind of sucked, actually, if that was the case.

"Um...I'm here." she called out, meekly, after a long moment of silence, and stepped forward a bit more, so she would hopefully be visible to the man in the poor lighting.

((ooc: ack, I'm sorry I took so long ( ... )

Despite the fact that Iwaki had been calling for someone to answer, he couldn’t stop himself from gasping just a bit when the girl appeared. He hadn’t expected to feel as strange as he did. Something about this place… Iwaki wasn’t sure he liked it very much. These feelings wouldn’t get in the way of Iwaki getting back home, however.

"Ah, yes." He took a few steps so he was close enough to reach for her hand. Going on his final solution, he shook her hand and said, "Thank you very much for your hospitality, but I really must be getting home. The press held me up enough as it is..." He took another look around. Was this even Japan? Well, it had to be. The girl... she didn’t look like she knew who he was, though. Out of politeness, Iwaki introduced himself.

"I’m Iwaki Kyousuke. I’m afraid I didn’t catch your name."

(( ooc: No worries~! ♥ ))

Shilo tensed up a little bit and let out a little gasp of her own as the man came closer and then as she felt her hand being first grabbed and then shook, having not really expected that reaction, really. That was...normal, right? Not something she'd ever done before, though, really, so she pretty much just ended up standing there stupidly as he shook her hand, her doing nothing...

"I...I'm Shilo." she said, a bit awkwardly, "Shilo Wallace." there was a pause, before she added. "This...this isn't my house, though." The press, though? That was interesting, definitely, and a bit of curiosity flashed over her features. Was he a celebrity or something? Questions like those, though, could probably wait.

She wasn't residing in this place? Perhaps it did make sense. Whoever did live here more than likely was fond of entertaining company. Iwaki was beginning to feel a bit impatient. If he was meant to be a visiter in this place, why would the owner leave him unconscious at the front door?

"It's a pleasure, Shilo," he mentioned with a smile. His predicament wasn't her fault. However... Wallace? She was definitely caucasion and Wallace was an American name. Which was normal. Iwaki couldn't seem to shake the feeling that this place looked nothing like what he was used to. Of course he was in Japan, Iwaki reminded himself. He had hit his head and these people were hospitable.

"I really do need to be heading back. You see, there's someone I--" What was he saying? It wasn't necessary for her to know that. He wondered if Katou knew where he was. Or worse, what if the idiot was worried? "Would you mind leading me to whoever owns this house?"

She managed a bit of a smile back to him when she smiled, and tried to relax some more. At least he seemed friendly enough, so that was better than the alternative...

But his questions, on the other hand, were less welcome, if only because she didn't exactly look forward to answering them. "Um..." she hesitated, wondering exactly how she should say it before just meekly speaking up. "No one knows." she said, a bit nervously, and shifting a bit. It was pretty bad to have to tell so many newcomers this. "I think we're all pretty much stuck here, at least for now..."

"Stuck here?"

No... This was a house. No one could be stuck in a house. What about breaking out a window or the front door? Hadn't anybody tried those things? Iwaki couldn't help but think that this girl had to be wrong. With determination running through him, his eyes searched for a window. Left corner of the room. Before he even got an answer, he made his way to the window, only to find the devestating view. The house was on a cliff of some kind, with an impossible depth down below. He shot his head around to face Shilo, unable to hide the flash of fear in his eyes.

"What are you saying exactly? We can't ever leave?" Stupid question, but something HAD to be missing in her explanation. Some unawsered question. Something. Iwaki was not about to accept this anytime soon. He had to get home. He had to see Katou and tell him everything was alright. Or was it? A world without Katou... was no world at all. Then he noticed the extremity of what she had just said.

"We're all stuck here? Who's we?"
